The future memory heartbreak junction, diptych brings together a host of contemporary archetypes which have played a significant role in western society in the last 100 years. By manipulating aspects of space and time within her choreography, Ivanochko continuously shifts perspectives on the chronological events of a shamelessly emotional love story. FMHJ is driven with surreal, cinematic, star quality performances. Ivanochko was nominated in 2010 for Best Interpretation for a Dora Mavor Moore Award. The solo premiered at Dancemakers Centre for Creation in Toronto, Ontario, December 2008 and performed at The Rachel Brown Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba in May 2009. The diptych premiered at The Enwave Theatre Toronto, Ontario October, 2010 presented by DanceWorks, and at Studio 303/OFFCinars in Montreal, Quebec in November 2010.
